Starkey Livio Edge AI 2400 - Next generation sound, never before possible

The new Starkey Livio Edge AI 2400 is the premium level technology from American company, Starkey. It is currently only available in a premium level 2400 instrument, but is the first hearing aid on the market to incorporate 2.4GHz Bluetooth technology and rechargeability in a custom in the ear product. The Livio Edge AI supersedes the existing Livio AI technology which was the first 'healthable' hearing product on the market. This is a class above and really puts Starkey to the forefront of the market.

Edge Mode

Starkey have put the latest technology 'Edge Mode' into the Livio Edge AI 2400. Edge mode provides instantaneous adjustments when in the most challenging listening environments. The AI facility in Edge Mode will conduct an analysis of the environment automatically to make these adjustments.

AI (Artificial Intelligence) & 3D Sensors

Specially designed for the Livio Edge AI 2400 the Artificial Intelligence and 3D sensors track the users activity such as, step count, heart rate, preferred user setting and most importantly a 'fall detection system', so should the user fall the hearing aids will send an automatic notification to a preferred family family or friend.

Thrive App Including thriveCare 

Livio uses the very latest technology for streaming and remote control function. The thrive App has a large range of facilities that the user can access to personalize their lifestyle. Aside from the basic facilities such as, volume control, program adjustment and setting, find my hearing aids, they now also include 'Geo Tagging' which allows the user to set a tag on their favourite environments such as a favourite restaurant or cinema and also Auto On/Off which turns the hearing aids off automatically to save power when not in use.

Healthable technology

The Livio Edge AI 2400 also includes the brain tracking, body tracking and fall detection systems within the Thrive app meaning that it can all be controlled and adjusted personally and easily from the users phone. The user can view their targets and monitor the progress of each of these activities (mainly brain function) to make sure they are getting the best benefit from wearing the hearing aids.

Intelligent Assistance

The thrive app now includes Starkeys own 'intelligent assistnace' facility which quite frankly is brilliant. It allows the user to activate features such as:

Translate - Communicate with people who speak a different language. The hearing aids will automatically translate almost instantaneously so the user is able to communicate and understand in the best possible way.

Transcribe - This allows conversations to be saved and shared allowing the user to pass on instant information should they require.

Tap Control - Simply by touching the ear twice you can start and stop your Bluetooth streaming.

Self Check - What is says on the tin self check allows the user to quickly and easily check the status of their hearing aids performance.

Reminders - Set up and store reminders to do. The thrive app will alert the user when the reminder is coming up and when it needs doing.

Thrive Assistant - The assistant is there to help with things that the user may find confusing such as how to work the volume control, program settings etc. It also has a built in feature which will inform the user of things like the weather for that particular day.

Hearing Care wherever you are - The user can instantly request adjustments from their audiologist using the Thrive app.

This app is the most comprehensive full coverage app on the market. It allows the user to do more than just wear the product and make basic adjustments. Its a complete app covering overall health and hearing.

Rechargeablilty
The Livio Edge AI 2400 comes with a built in Li-ion battery cell that guarantees' a full 24 hour day from a full charge of 3 hours. You can also expect to receive 14 hours of 1.5 hour charge and 7 hours off half and hour. These time are inclusive of using the full range of wireless and 2.4 GHz Bluetooth technology streaming facility. 

The Livio Edge AI 2400 is also the worlds first custom rechargeable instrument meaning the user can have the hearing aid in CIC (Complete in Canal) format. Still containing all the technology of its RIC (Receiver in Canal) counterpart its a groundbreaking piece of work from Starkey that we are sure will turn heads.

Build Quality

Both the receiver in canal and complete in canal products come with a receiver coated IP moisture and dust resistant coating. The snap fit receivers are durable and come with a wax and moisture coating on the electronic housing. Both types comes with the Starkey HearClear filter with is gauzed metal for extra wax and moisture protection.

Streaming Facilities

The Livio Edge AI 2400 is fully wireless, meaning it will support the new range of wireless accessories that Starkey will bring out specifically for the Edge product. Its also 2.4 GHz Bluetooth technology and will work with both Apple and Android phones and also, use low powered Bluetooth for all other Bluetooth enabled phones so users can get the facilities even if they have a 'low spec' phone.

Behind The Ear

Receiver in Canal 312 - The 312 battery operated version and the smallest behind the ear hearing aid in the range (2.4 GHz and fully wireless)

Receiver in Canal R - the rechargeable version which is slightly bigger but still has all the features (2.4 GHz and fully wireless)

In The Ear Custom

Complete in Canal 312 -  The smallest hearing aid in the custom range taking a 312 battery (2.4 GHz and fully wireless)

Complete in Canal R - The worlds first custom rechargeable hearing aid in its type (2.4 GHz and fully wireless)

In the Canal - A slightly bigger version of the two above taking either a 312 or 13 battery for ease of use. (2.4 GHz and fully wireless)
