Signia Styletto 7Nx- It's more than just a hearing aid.

The Signia Styletto 5Nx is the advanced level SlimRic technology from Sivantos formally known as Siemens. It is the worlds first SlimRIC hearing aid coming with a full 2.4 GHz technology with Apple iOS and rechargeability. Its the first style of its type on the hearing market and preferred by 8-10 hearing aid wearers (taken directly from the Signia website). It also come with a portable rechargeable unit meaning the user can take the charging case away for up to 4 days without the need for cables and wires.

Features of the Product

In this section we will outline some of the features in the Sytletto Connect Nx that we think really give this hearing product the edge.

OVP (Own Voice Processing)

Introducing Sivantos/Signia Own Voice Processing. It basically is as it suggests, a processor for your own voice. Typically a new user or a user experience change with their hearing has difficulties adjusting to the sound of their own voice. Sivantos has developed this especially to detect the sounds of your own voice and process it above the other external sounds to give you maximum comfort and a natural feel to your own voice. Simply fantastic technology that now really aids in helping the client acclimatize to their new hearing aids.

Ultra HD e2e (Ear to Ear)

Taken directly from Signia, this is what they say about Ultra HD e2e: 'Ultra HD e2e is a continuous full bandwidth ear to ear link with audio processing and data exchange between the hearing aids enabling unrivaled performance with OVP and better than normal hearing.

Dynamic SoundScape Processing

Put quite simple by Sivantos, Dynamic SoundScape Processing (DSP) 'identifies the direction of speech and noise signals and provides better input for determining directional microphone strength in combination with environmental awareness'. This means basically that the hearing aids will concentrate on sounds the user wishes to hear by allocating more focus to them when in the midst of a busier environment.

Rechargeability

Signia Styletto Connect Nx comes with a Li-ion built in power cell for discrete, stylish, rechargeable functionality. The Li-ion cell will give the user 16 hours of usage on a full charge including bluetooth streaming. It comes with fully portable charger however so you can charge the hearing aids on the go with no need for a connecting wire. A fantastic new idea that we find makes rechargeability a lot easier. Charging times as follows:

3 Hours - A full 16 hour usage time (including bluetooth streaming)

1.5 Hours - Gives the user around 10 hours of usage (including bluetooth streaming)

0.5 hours - Gives the user around 4 hours worth of usage (including bluetooth streaming)

Streaming Facilities

The Styletto Connect Nx platform comes with 2.4 GHz wireless bluetooth technology, allowing the user to effortless stream music, TV and sound sources from their phone  and Tv streamer. This functionality however is only available with iOS apple devices and not available with Android smartphones. They also are compatible with the Signia app which allows you to control the volume, adjust the directionality and change the program

Build Quality

The Styletto Connect range all come with an ip68 rated housing and fixed receivers. You cannot change the receivers and neither can your hearing professional, they must be sent back to Sivantos.  A slight bug bear but we feel that they are stronger and more robust receivers and thus less likely to break or damage. They are fully water and dust resistant also.

Hearing Aid Styles / Colours
