The Oticon Ruby 1 is the entry mid level product in the Ruby range. Oticon designed the Ruby range for essential use at an affordable pricepoint. They join the Siya range of custom products in the Oticon range. Oticon Ruby now comes in a rechargeable system which is Oticon's first at the lower end of the technology level. Ruby is designed to provide great speech in noise enhancement and comes with the new SuperShield feedback management system for premium reduction of feedback in even the loudest of environments.

SuperShield Feedback Management System

Rechargeability

Oticon Ruby brings reliable inductive charging to Oticon’s essential category. The super-fast charger can fully charge the hearing aids as follows:

3 Hours- Gives a full 24 hours usage including bluetooth streaming

1.5 Hours- Gives around 12-14 hours usage including bluetooth streaming

0.5 Hours- Gives around 6 hours of usage including bluetooth streaming.

Streaming Facilities

Oticon Ruby’s wireless connectivity delivers high-quality sound streaming with low battery consumption to let your clients connect to the devices and people that mean the most to them. The user can also pair their Oticon Ruby hearing aids with multiple TV adapters and use the Oticon On App to select which TV to stream from. Powerful 2.4 GHz direct streaming through TwinLink ensures hassle-free connectivity with modern devices. Oticon hearing aids with Made for iPhone functionality transform into extremely high quality stereo headphones. This can be done with Android also however the user will need to have the Oticon ConnectClip in order to achieve the same results.

The Ruby comes with an ip68 rated moisture and dust resistant casing. It comes with Oticons strong and durable miniFIT receiver with a moisture resistant recevier housing and a wax gaurd to prevent wax build up in the electronics. The rechargeable version has built in Li-ion power cell for extra protection and comes with a strong and durable recharging docking unit.
