Introducing the world’s first CROS/BiCROS solution with OpenSound Navigator and TwinLink dual-streaming technology based on the revolutionary Oticon Velox S platform. Designed for people with single-sided deafness (SSD).
This hearing device is made up of two seperate parts:
- The first part is the transmitter that includes a microphone, which wirelessly absorbs and sends sound from your poor ear to your better ear.

The second part is the hearing aid that absorbs sound from the transmitter and sends it to your better ear.
A high-quality open sound experience
Oticon CROS features a version of OpenSound Navigator which has been optimized for people with single-sided deafness. Help is provided to the client, even in less noisy environments. The result is that Oticon CROS opens up both simple and complex listening environments and enables clients to access more of their listening space.
OpenSound Navigator is key to delivering the 360° listening experience by constantly scanning the environment, balancing sound levels and removing unwanted noise.
50% improvement in speech awareness
Results of a recent Oticon CROS dual-streaming study showed a 50% average improvement in awareness of speech in the environment while streaming from an external source while transmitting sound from the poorer ear to the better ear.
Participants in the study listened to news stories through a ConnectClip with the Oticon CROS transmitter turned on and turned off. When the Oticon CROS transmitter was on, participants were 50% more aware of the spoken words in the noisy environment.
TwinLink dual-streaming
Oticon CROS is the world’s first solution for CROS/BiCROS fittings offering TwinLink, which makes it possible to connect to external audio streams via 2.4 GHz Bluetooth low energy, while simultaneously receiving sound transmission via Near-Field Magnetic Induction (NFMI) from the poorer ear to the better ear.
Clients can watch television or listen to music while carrying on a conversation with someone positioned on their poorer ear side.
